Providing a high-efficiency, low-maintenance solution for architectural lighting installations, starfield ceilings, and specialized accent displays, Fiilex has officially introduced the FL5200 LED Fiber Optic Illuminator. Operating under the company’s specialized architectural spec division, this heavy-duty, indoor-rated light source engine is designed to pump intense illumination directly into large bundles of glass or plastic fiber optic cables, replacing hot, high-maintenance traditional lamps with cold, long-lasting digital LED technology.

An advanced multi-wavelength chip array powers the internal optics of the FL5200, consolidating high-density LEDs into a single, high-efficiency port. This design generates a massive lumen output that distributes light equally into every attached fiber strand, eliminating the dimming or uneven color mixing common to standard illuminators.

Fiber Optic Performance & Control Features:

• Advanced Multi-Wavelength Engine: Available in smooth Mixed RGBW/RGBA color configurations or standalone high-CRI white light options (ranging from 2800K to 6500K) to meet exact spectral requirements.
• Massive Optical Capacity: Features a versatile 30mm or 33mm fiber port, capable of effortlessly illuminating large-core lines or up to 1,000 individual strands of 0.75mm fiber.
• Optional Optical Homogenizer: A specialized internal configuration that ensures perfectly balanced light intensity and color uniformity across every connected fiber strand.
• Dynamic Twinkle Wheel Compatibility: Integrates a physical internal twinkle wheel mechanism to easily create organic, shimmering starfields or motion-based fiber effects.
• Comprehensive Control Infrastructure: Features full manual tuning, 0-10V dimming, and DIP-switch addressable XLR-5/RJ45 DMX inputs. Built-in mini-USB connectivity allows for custom stand-alone effect programming via software.
• Flexible, Rugged Mechanical Design: Encased in a durable black iron plate housing weighing 8.4 lbs. The unit operates silently at a low 31 dBA noise floor and is certified to mount safely in any orientation.
